I love coffee

This design board is a tactile approach to typographic assignment for my Design for Motion class at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Concept:

After over thinking the meaning of love and struggling to define it, I realized that the complexity of the concept hides behind the simplicity of the moments that are influenced by this emotion. My intention is to focus on a very simple kind of love; a personal love for coffee, reflected not only through the materials used, but also by the meaning of the typography and the imagery. This beverage not only provides the body with energy every morning, but it represents a place, a culture, a family tradition and defines the way in which I relate to others.
