TIMA AND YUÍ

This design board is a tactile approach to an assignment for my Design for Motion class at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Concept: 

Mythology.

Inspired by the myth of the birth of Tima and Yuí (The moon and the sun) used by the Arhuaco tribe in northern Colombia to explain the origin of light, this visual exploration pretends to bring to life the mystique, ethereality and magic of this oral tradition through the juxtaposition of warm and cool colors as well as the emphasis and source of light.
